About Jasmin Crouch
As Head of Campus at Gympie’s Flexible Learning Centre (FLC), Jasmin is a visionary, a dreamer and a supporter of dreams and so is a mentor to many who share her dream that anything is achievable.
Jasmin’s personal philosophy is that education begins and ends with the needs of the community and the more marginalised a young person is, the more support they need. She is a member of the EREA Youth Plus Team where her key role is to support young people and their families through innovative education practices.
She is excited to share the struggles, triumphs, principles and aspirations of the Gympie FLC with the local community, and reveal the real story of working at the coal face of education with young people whose needs are complex.
In her current role as Head of Campus at Gympie FLC, Jasmin coordinates the daily operations of the learning centre. She has wide experience in working in Flexible Learning Centres having been Teacher in Charge of “Its Up To You – Gympie” an earlier incarnation of the FLC as well as in the state school system’s Noosa FLC.
